🏆Obsidian Leaderboard
Introduction to the Obsidian Leaderboard Points System
Every week, Obsidian distributes 50% of the platform trading fees to the top 50 traders based on their trading activity. This distribution is made in the form of ROBIN tokens. Whether you are an avid trader or a casual participant, the leaderboard gives you an exciting opportunity to earn more, especially when you hold a ROBIN NFT.
Boost System for ROBIN NFT Holders
Owning an NFT provides you with a boost, adding a percentage to your points based on the rank of your NFT. Here’s how the boost system works:
Rank 1-5: 100% Boost (2x points)
Rank 6-25: 75% Boost
Rank 26-100: 50% Boost
Rank 101-200: 35% Boost
Rank 201-500: 25% Boost
Rank 501-1000: 15% Boost
Rank 1001-2500: 10% Boost
Owning a ROBIN NFT can make a substantial difference in your leaderboard position. In competitive weeks, even a few extra points can place you in a higher reward bracket.
By incorporating the ROBIN NFT into your strategy, you not only enhance your earning potential but also become a valued member of the Obsidian community.
So, start trading, boost your points with a ROBIN NFT, and climb the ranks on the Obsidian Leaderboard!
Reward Cycle
Each reward cycle lasts for 7 days. At the end of each cycle, the top 50 addresses with the highest trading volume (converted into leaderboard points) are eligible to receive a share of 50% of the fees collected by Obsidian that week. These rewards are paid out in ROBIN tokens.
How Rewards Are Calculated
Each trader’s share of the weekly reward pool is proportional to their points compared to the total points earned by all 50 eligible traders.
For example, if 100 million ROBIN tokens are allocated for the week, then the reward for each user is calculated using the formula:
Your Reward = (Your Points / Total Points of Top 50) × 100,000,000 ROBIN
To illustrate how rewards are distributed, we will use an example where 100 million ROBIN tokens are allocated for a given week.
Example Scenarios
Scenario 1: Close Points Between Top Users
If the first and second place traders have nearly equal points, they will receive almost the same rewards. Example:
- Trader A has 10,000 points - Trader B has 9,900 points - Total points from all 50 traders = 50,000
Reward amounts: - Trader A: (10,000 / 50,000) × 100M = 20,000,000 ROBIN - Trader B: (9,900 / 50,000) × 100M = 19,800,000 ROBIN
Scenario 2: Top 5 Traders Dominate
If the top 5 traders accumulate most of the points, they will receive the bulk of the reward pool. Example:
- Total points from all traders = 1,000,000 - Top 5 traders have a combined 900,000 points
Reward amounts: - Trader 1 (300,000 points): 30,000,000 ROBIN - Trader 2 (250,000 points): 25,000,000 ROBIN - Remaining 45 traders share 10,000,000 ROBIN
Claiming Your Rewards
Rewards must be claimed within 15 days after the cycle ends. If not claimed within this period, the rewards expire and cannot be claimed afterward.
Final Notes
Obsidian’s leaderboard rewards ensure that active traders are fairly rewarded. Whether you're a top trader or rising through the ranks, your activity helps you earn a share of the platform fees distributed weekly.
